The stone in this work represents the weight that burdens the spirituality of the santino, a traditional holy card, here serving as both metaphor and symbol of pure spirituality.
Firmly bound to the stone, it becomes earthly and human, shedding its spiritual aura.

Partendo da un sogno, l’artista segue una scia religiosa.

La pietra di quest’opera rappresenta quasi il peso che appesantisce la spiritualità del santino, metafora e simbolo della spiritualità per eccellenza che, attaccato indissolubilmente alla pietra si fa terreno e umano abbandonando la sua aura spirituale.
